Harriett Baldwin and Cllr Ken Pollock have today welcomed news that Tenbury library will become a wireless hotspot in time for the New Year.

Harriett Baldwin, Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for West Worcestershire and Cllr Ken Pollock have today welcomed news that Tenbury library will become a wireless hotspot in time for the New Year.

Following a successful pilot at Malvern Library, 7 other libraries, including Tenbury, are due for a wireless hotspot rollout.

Harriett Baldwin said, "I am delighted to hear that wireless internet is coming to Tenbury library. The library is very convenient and the computer is very popular. A wireless hotspot will mean that local residents can bring in their own laptop to the library and use the internet there for free. This is fantastic news for Tenbury."

Cllr Pollock said "I am very pleased to see this new development that will allow people access to the internet without needing to take out a contract. I am sure it will be a boon to all sorts of people who will be able to expand their horizons through the internet now available to them via the hot spot."
