West Worcestershire MP Harriett Baldwin helped with the fund-raising drive for Malvern Community Hospital by attending the annual summer fete. And the MP praised the tireless efforts of fund-raisers to attempt to secure vital equipment for the hospital. The fete featured a number of stands selling jewellery and other luxury and household items, a tombola, traditional strawberries and cream and even a bouncy castle in the hospital grounds. And hospital Matron Lin Ingles welcomed several of the former patients who have been treated at the hospital, but who returned to help to raise funds for the much-loved community facility. Harriett commented: "I would like to thank Sheila Young and all the League of Friends volunteers who work so hard to fund vital hospital equipment. "This was my first chance to wander around the grounds and the hospital has bedded in to its new site very well. "We were all pleased to see former patients joining in the fun too and I hope that the fete has helped boost the fund-raising pot."
