Harriett Baldwin last week celebrated local small business expansion at an expo event in Malvern. Harriett toured the exhibition on Friday (September 2) and met with nearly a dozen businesses based in and around Malvern. The event, held at Abbey Hotel Malvern, was themed around businesses promoting a lifestyle and was supported by the local Federation of Small Business branch. Harriett commented: “Malvern has had a reputation for promoting healthy lifestyles for hundreds of years, with the healthy Malvern water and the challenging Malvern Hills walks. “It was good to see a number of small businesses continuing this reputation and I was pleased to be able to talk to our local entrepreneurs about the challenges and opportunities out there. She added: "All economic recoveries have historically relied on small business growth. I was pleased to see such an impressive group of companies displaying their entrepreneurial spirit. “The town prides itself in a great number of entrepreneurs and we must do all we can to support them and help them to grow.” Organiser Philip Jolley added: “The Lifestyle Show provided a wonderful opportunity to network with likeminded people in a relaxed and informal environment. “By opening the event to the public, it also meant exhibitors were able to reach out to potential new customers too. “I would like to say a big thank you to Harriett Baldwin for attending and meeting all the exhibitors too.”
