West Worcestershire MP Harriett Baldwin has praised the plans of local former boxer Paddy Brennan to help keep wayward young people out of trouble. Local Tenbury celebrity Paddy Brennan already runs a successful boxing club and fitness centre in the town. Now he is working with police and local authorities to run sessions for young offenders and disengaged young people to try and help them to turn their lives around. Harriett met with Paddy to find out more about his programmes and to offer him assistance, both locally and in Westminster. Harriett said: “Paddy is a great asset to the local community. I hear that his exercise classes are excellent and the boxing club is very well supported. “It’s great that he is working with the police and local authorities to try and help young offenders and I was happy to offer my support to Paddy in this very difficult task. “He has lots of great ideas and seemingly boundless enthusiasm and I wished him good luck as he seeks to expand his programmes across the county.” Photo: Paddy Brennan (left) pictured with Harriett Baldwin MP
