West Worcestershire MP Harriett Baldwin has offered to invite the Prime Minister to read stories at a Malvern primary school. The MP visited the Grove Primary School to meet head teacher Mark Ridlinton, staff and pupils and tour the impressive school facilities. And during a visit to a Year 3 class, the MP offered to pass on a message to Prime Minister David Cameron. The class asked her to invite him to read stories to them and she agreed to pass on a letter from the class formally inviting him to the school. Harriett commented: “Grove Primary School and Nursery is a real hidden gem which is working hard to improve and offer a great start for local children. “It is offering an expanding nursery service and excellent after-school clubs. “The school has beautiful facilities and is clearly making progress. I wanted to pop in to the school to personally thank Mark and his team for all the hard work they are putting in at the school and I will be happy to pass on a letter to the Prime Minister inviting him to visit.” Photo: Pictured back row (l-r) Head teacher Mark Ridlinton, Harriett Baldwin MP, front row (l-r): Trinity Gray, aged 10, Sophie Taylor, aged 7, Poppy Etty-Leal aged 5 and Sean Merrick aged 11.
