9th June 2017

Harriett Baldwin has today been returned as the Member of Parliament for West Worcestershire for the third consecutive time.

Harriett polled 34,703 securing a majority of over 21,000 votes. She secured more than 61 per cent of the vote on a record high turnout of 76 per cent.

Harriett commented: "I am obviously delighted with the result and I would like to thank everyone who voted to re-elect me on such a high turnout.

"I repeat my pledge to keep working hard for local people to improve our local infrastructure, support our wonderful NHS and deliver the right conditions to allow our local economy to grow.

“I want to thank the Malvern Hills District Council team who managed the election and worked hard through the night to complete the count so efficiently.

"It is a privilege to be elected again and I look forward to returning to Westminster to continue my work as a strong voice for all the people of West Worcestershire."
